From April 3 to April 10, 2023, the Department of International Law holds the anniversary X International Scientific and Practical School on International Law "Actual Problems of Theory, Practice and Teaching of International Law", dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the specialized Department of International Law of ENU. In 2023, the main topic of the X International Scientific and Practical School is "Alternative ways to resolve international disputes."
On April 7, 2023 Ali Shaukenov, Managing Partner of AXeDan Group Law Company LLP, Candidate of Law, PhD, Associate Professor of the Adilet Graduate School of Law of the Caspian University, and Daniyar Amurovich Seifullin, Executive Partner of AXeDan Law Company LLP Group”, Member of the Chamber of Legal Advisers “Center for Legal Protection and Legal Services” performed.
The lecturers held a master class on the topic “Out-of-court forms of dispute resolution”, where they talked about the characteristic features of out-of-court dispute resolution methods: the existence of a dispute about the law or conflicts of interest of the parties, dispute resolution without the participation of the state, the lack of a single procedural form for out-of-court dispute resolution, voluntariness execution by the parties of acts in out-of-court settlement of disputes. The lecturers also spoke about the practice of resolving disputes in the field of cinema, in relation to the lease of commercial real estate.
