Lecture by Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Department of International Law, RUDN A.Kh. Abashidze

November 22, 2019 at the Department of International Law of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov, a guest lecture was held by a doctor of legal sciences, professor, head of the department of international law of the RUDN University, member of the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, chairman of the international law commission of the Russian Association for UN Assistance, member of the expert council of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, member Expert Council under the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Aslan Huseynovich Abashidze.

 

 

Despite the extremely busy schedule of stay in Kazakhstan, prof. A.H. Abashidze allocated time for a two-hour lecture at the university - a partner of RUDN University at the CIS Network University.

The lecture on topical issues of modern international law was attended by students, undergraduates, doctoral students and the faculty of the Department of International Law.

The event was opened by a doctor of jurisprudence, professor of the Department of International Law of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilev Abaideldinov E.M.

An open lecture by a prominent world-famous scientist was held as part of the            VI International Scientific and Practical School of International Law on the topic “Actual Problems of Theory, Practice and Teaching of International Law”, traditionally held by the Department of International Law, after which certificates were awarded to all participants. 

 

 

Cooperation between the departments of international law of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (Moscow, Russian Federation) and the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov (Nur-Sultan, the Republic of Kazakhstan) has been developing productively in many areas since 2009.

Ahead is the implementation of new joint projects in the scientific and educational sphere.
