On November 19, 2018, a visiting professor, Doctor of Laws, Head of the International Law Department of the Novosibirsk State University, Vladislav Leonidovich Tolstyh, held KVIZ with students of the specialties International Law and International Relations.
KVIZ is a team intellectual and entertaining game that does not require preliminary preparation of its participants. Professor Tolstoy V.L. Questions from legal, historical, political, and everyday life were prepared. The questions were divided into 4 categories and 4 rounds, respectively:
- questions with pictures, where each question is supported by an image on the screen, or the question itself is in the image itself;
- oral questions: textual tasks from the legal and political spheres;
- musical questions: each question is supported by a sound file related to the essence of the question, or the question is enclosed in the sound file itself;
- questions of "pure intelligence": to solve tasks it is necessary to show non-standard thinking, erudition.
The set of questions was known only by the host of the game.
Students united in groups answered interesting questions with great interest and enthusiasm. A total of 11 teams of 4-5 people participated. It should be especially noted that this event aroused interest among students of different courses and levels, therefore, students of both the 3rd and 4th courses, and undergraduates of the first course of study took part in it. Doctoral students from Tyumen State University, who came for academic mobility, who were very interested in the announcement of the upcoming Quiz, also took part.
According to the results of the winners was the team specialty International Law.
