al-Farabi Kazakh National University jointly with the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the «Sanaly Urpaq» Republican Project Office held an online competition on the subject «Legal framework for the fight against corruption» among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries from November 26 to 6 December 2019.
The Olympiad was held by the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law, Faculty of Law, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, at the address: Al-Farabi ave. 71, Almaty, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, languages of the Olympiad: Kazakh, Russian.English.
At a meeting of the competitive commission established to verify the results of the student subject Olympiad «Legal framework for combating corruption», participants presented on the online platform www.online.test.kaznu.kz and passed on-line testing, reviewed videos of scientific projects on the topic, reviewed and evaluated «The formation and development of the principles of integrity as the basis of counteraction to corruption».
The total number of registered participants at the Legal Olympiad until November 26, 2019 was 146 participants, 19 participants passed the first round of on-line testing. The second round of the video was held on-line from December 4 to December 6, 2019. 12 participants sent a video. From the submitted works, 6 works of applicants were selected.
In the final calculation of the amount of points scored, the following participants of the student legal Olympiad were awarded with diplomas:
First degree diploma - Berzhan Almat Temirkhanuly (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University) - total score 144;
Second degree diploma - Almazuly Abdurakhman Batukhan (L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University) - total score 140;
Diploma of the II degree - Orakbaev Erpolat Temirbayuly (Berdakh Karadalpak State University) - total score 138;
Diploma of the III degree - Dosnazarova Aigul Dauletnazarovna (Berdakh Karakalpak State University) - total score 132;
Diploma of the III degree - Myrzashova Merey Shoқangyzy (Abylay Khan KazUMOiMYa) - total score 131;
Diploma of the III degree - Tuleu Islam Talgatuly (Kostanay socio-technical university named after academician Z. Aldamzhar) - total score 130.
The winners were awarded on December 12, 2019 at 11.00 in the classroom No. 308 of the Law Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
