On September 22, 2021, representatives of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan (Dushanbe, Tajikistan) visited the Department of International Law as part of an official meeting with the leadership of the L. N. Gumilev Eurasian National University.
The delegation from APRT included: Vice-Rector for International Relations-Somon Sulaimonovich Ismatov, Head of the Project Implementation and Grant Attraction Department-Golib Jovidon Aminjonzoda, Head of the Department for Academic Affairs – Odinaev Boymurod Jalilovich.
After a meeting with a member of the Board-Vice-Rector for Science, Commercialization and Internationalization, Merzadinova G. T., the delegation of APRT together with the director of the Department of International Cooperation Karmelyuk A.V., an employee of the Department for Academic Mobility Zhagalbaev B. T., Dean of the Faculty of Law Smatlaev B. Zh., Head of the Department of International Law Tlepina Sh. V. visited the Department of International Law, where they met with teachers of the department and students of APRT studying at ENU within the framework of academic mobility.
The head of the Department of International Law, Doctor of Law, Professor, Tlepina Sholpan Valeryevna once again welcomed the guests, introduced the teaching staff of the department, and also presented a gift in the form of educational and monographic literature to the Department of International Law of APRT. It should be noted that almost all of these textbooks and monographs were prepared and published by the teaching staff of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU Department of International Law. Among them, the educational and methodological manuals "Case-Study on Public International Law", "Textbook on Public International Law", "Selected cases on public international Law", "Interaction of the UN human rights treaty bodies with the EAEU and OECD countries" published by a team of authors, volume I and II.
The role of the head of the Department of international law A. A. Saidmukhtorov and the senior lecturer of the Department of international law of ENU R. D. Akshalova, which laid the foundation for cooperation between the two universities, was particularly noted. In addition, the Department of international law issued a certificate to A. A. Saidmukhtorov on the topic "actual problems of theory, practice and teaching of international law", a Visiting Lecturer of the VII international scientific and practical School on international law, held from March 1 to 10, 2021.
The meeting ended with a joint photo session and wishes for success and expansion of cooperation.
