On February 10, 2022 Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), acting Associate Professor of the Department of International Law of the Law Faculty of the L. N. Gumilyov university - Iskakova Zh. T. held an open lecture on the discipline “Private International Law” in the 3rd year group B049-4202-19-02 of the educational program “International Law”.
The topic of the lecture was “The concept, structure and types of conflict rules. The concept of conflict law in private international law.”
The purpose of the lesson: the formation of a comprehensive deep understanding of the legal nature and essence of the conflict of laws rules necessary for application in resolving disputes complicated by a foreign element.
The lesson was conducted with the use of modern information technologies and pedagogical technology of problem-based learning with elements of critical thinking.
Students showed stable theoretical knowledge not only within the framework of the presented topic, but also when solving specific case-tasks.
