GUEST LECTURE BY SENIOR ASSISTANT TO THE PROSECUTOR GENERAL, SENIOR ADVISER TO JUSTICE BEISOV B.M.

On March 4, 2021, at the invitation of the Head of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines, B. R. Sembekova, a guest lecture was held by the Senior Assistant to the Prosecutor General, Senior Adviser to Justice B. M. Beisov on the topic: "The place and role of the Prosecutor's Office in the criminal process within the framework of the implementation of Article 83 of the Constitution".
Beisov B. M. revealed the key positions of the norms of criminal procedure legislation, the changes that were made to these norms, and showed the role of the prosecutor as a participant in the criminal process. The powers of the prosecutor were disclosed in relation to other participants in the criminal process, such as the investigating judge and investigator, the bodies of inquiry. The disclosure of the norms of criminal procedure legislation on these issues was accompanied by practical examples, which aroused the keen interest of those present, who were students, undergraduates and doctoral students of the Faculty of Law.
Undergraduates and doctoral students were interested in the implementation of the norms of criminal procedure legislation in practice, what problems, what conflicts of norms often arise when solving practical problems.
The lecturer emphasized the importance of the prosecutor's office in ensuring the rule of law in solving criminal law and criminal procedure problems, showing the specific mechanisms of legal regulation of public relations in criminal proceedings.  
The meeting was attended by Faculty of Law Faculty, teachers of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines, Head of the Department of Civil, Labor and Environmental Law, Doctor of Law, Professor Nurmagambetov.
Professor Nurmagambetov A.M. also showed the role of the prosecutor's office in civil proceedings, conducting a discussion with the lecturer, jointly identified the problematic aspects of the implementation of the norms of civil proceedings.
The guest lecture was held at a high theoretical level.
