GUEST LECTURE ON THE TOPIC: "Anti-corruption culture: concept, problems and prospects"

On November 11, 2020, as part of the implementation of an event that provides moral and patriotic education of students, a representative from the Nur-Otan party, candidate of legal sciences, associate professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional Law of the ENU named after S. L.N. Gumilyov (winner of the grant "The best teacher of the University - 2019") Osmanova D.B. visited the University "Turan-Astana" with a guest lecture on the topic: "Anti-corruption culture: concept, problems and prospects." This event was attended by: head. Department of National and International Law Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Ensebaeva A.R., Candidate of Law, Associate Professor Kazhenova A.S., teaching staff, as well as students of this university.

 The purpose of familiarizing students with the phenomenon of corruption: the essence, causes, consequences that form a positive attitude to the existing order, awareness of the benefits of observing the rules and regulations that allow to form an anti-corruption worldview.

 So, Osmanova D.B. determined that the main result of anti-corruption education is seen in the training of a person capable of exercising powers of power or interacting with representatives of power structures on a legal basis, avoiding bribery, bribery and other illegal actions. Considering corruption as one of the most serious obstacles to the economic and political development of Kazakhstan, the awareness of the fact that it poses a threat to national security, gives rise to the need to create a system of anti-corruption education as a separate component of the education system.

 The meeting was held at a good level, the lecturer interested the students, the discussion of this topic was carried out on a lively note. All aspects of the anti-corruption legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan were disclosed.
