Docent of the department of civil and environmental law, Ph.D Muslim Khasenov within the period from November 14 to December 16, 2018, attended an academic exchange in a Higher School of Economics (Moscow) within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) project on the establishing a modern paradigm of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) development.
An intensive research and educational program for 1 month (200 academic hours) included lectures, brainstorming sessions, round tables, working and visiting sessions with the participation of officials and leading experts from Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), National Research University Higher School of Economics (NRU HSE) and other organizations.
The uniqueness of the format lies in the fact that 15 young scientists from 5 EAEU countries listened to presentations of 16 key EEC departments (out of 25 existing ones) and statements from representatives of 12 universities and research organizations, discussed and received the most current information from the first mouth. It was able to obtain the most comprehensive view on all aspects of economic integration in record time.
Meetings were held at the highest level - met with the Chairman of the EEC Board T.S. Sarkisyan and Minister of Trade, member of the EEC Board V.O. Nikishina.
Result of work of young scientists is preparation of the analytical report “The future image of the EAEU through the scientific and educational community”, where they analyzed the state of all areas of integration, identified problematic issues and developed specific recommendations.
The program will be continued in distance format: now young researchers will have to work on the EAEU image for each of the member states taking into account national peculiarities.
