Results of the competition «Best research work of undergraduates / research work of doctoral students»

 

 

Today, on April 14, 2021, at 12.00 o'clock, the diplomas of the competition "The best research work of undergraduates/ doctoral students" were awarded in the educational and administrative building of the L. N. Gumilyov ENU»

The 3rd-year doctoral students of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional Law of the Faculty of Law Khuandag Bazhai and Ospanova Aidana Nurgalievna were awarded a diploma for the best research work.

In honor of the 25th anniversary of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, the Department of Postgraduate Education has developed a regulation on the competition "The best research work of undergraduates/ doctoral students".

The purpose of the competition is to activate the creative attitude to research work, create conditions for the realization of students ' creative abilities, and stimulate their research activities.

The participants of the competition are students of the final year of doctoral studies in all areas of training.

The competition was held in three rounds: cathedral, faculty and university-wide. The cathedral and faculty rounds of the competition were held until March 10, 2021.

To conduct the all – university round, a competition commission was established by the order of the Acting Chairman of the Board-Rector of the University Kamzabekuly Dikhan for No. 2-r dated 16.03.2021. Its chairman is a well-known Russian scientist, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Director of the Institute of Cell Biology and Biotechnology, head of the Laboratory of Molecular Genetics of the L. N. Gumilyov ENU Bersymbai Rakhmetkazhi Iskendiruly. The commission includes deans of faculties, heads of departments, professors and associate professors.

The main requirements of the competition: the completion of a significant amount of dissertation work, the presence of scientific publications in publications recommended by the Committee for Control in the Field of Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and for doctoral students – the presence of at least one article in an international scientific publication that has a non-zero impact factor or is included in the Scopus database on the topic of the dissertation.

More than 80 applications were submitted from the faculties.

By the decision of the commission, 25 doctoral students were selected, who were recommended for awarding diplomas and valuable gifts.
