On November 1, 2021, Senior curator of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines, Ph.D. in Law, S.M. Baymoldina was on duty in the student dormitory where students of the Faculty of Law live. As part of this duty in the student dormitory, S.M. Baymoldina held a discussion on the topic "Combating religious extremism and terrorism in the Republic of Kazakhstan". During the discussion, the provisions of the Concept of State Policy in the Religious Sphere of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2017-2020, the State Program on Countering Religious Extremism and Terrorism in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2018-2022, the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 18, 2005 "On countering extremism" were discussed, the activities of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan were reviewed. An important part of the prevention of extremism and terrorism among young people is the education of students with an intolerant attitude to such socially negative manifestations that hinder the development of public relations.
