A gratitude letter from the library of Harvard Law School was received by Dr Beibit Shangirbayeva for the enrichment of the library collection with her monograph on Constitutional law of Kazakhstan published recently in the English language by Wolters Kluwer (the Netherlands). As written in the letter addressed to Dr Shangirbayeva “Your generosity in making your work available to our patrons is greatly appreciated.”
During a research stay at the Melikian Center of Arizona State University Dr Beibit Shangirbayeva delivered an open lecture with a professor of Harvard University Nargis Kassenova on the topic “Global Asia: global and local wisdom”. The open lecture was a part of a collaboratively organized faculty development program to present virtually to educators throughout the state of Arizona. Dr Beibit Shangirbayeva’s presentation was focused on the intersections between Kazakh traditional culture and global human rights values.
