BINARY LESSON WITH PARTICIPATION OF PROSECUTORS IN NUR-SULTAN «PECULIARITIES OF INVESTIGATION OF CYBER CRIMES IN THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN»

        On October 07, 2021, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines, Candidate of Law Baimoldina Svetlana Malikovna, together with 2nd-year undergraduates of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies at the Prosecutor General's Office Sekenova Botagoz Bazarkhanovna, 2nd-class lawyer, Meirbekova Dina Meirbekovna, senior police lieutenant, 2nd-year undergraduate student of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies at the Prosecutor General's Office, conducted a binary lesson on the discipline "Fundamentals of methods of investigating crimes in computer information" for graduate students studying under the educational program "Judicial Power and Criminal Justice Justice" of the Faculty of Law of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU.
        At this binary lesson, issues related to the Criminal-legal characteristics of crimes in the field of computer information were considered. Methods of "brainstorming", discussions were used, slide presentations were shown. The situations related to the disclosure and investigation of crimes in the field of computer information of electronic and digital objects with the use of tactical and forensic means and methods of support based on modern achievements of the sciences of digital technologies, scientific organization of labor were considered in particular detail.   
       It was also noted that in the context of the pandemic, the total number of crimes involving the use of modern computer information has increased, and there is a surge in crimes involving the use of information technology. However, the identification of these types of crimes is quite a difficult task, and accordingly, it becomes more difficult to bring the perpetrators to justice. Nevertheless, the methods of investigation of these types of crimes are constantly being improved.
        Undergraduates showed a high interest in this issue, and also demonstrated a high level of preparation for the binary lesson, fluently answered questions, actively participated in the discussion.
