Today L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University is one of the culturally diverse universities. Thus diversity, integration and polylinguism are among the core values. The development of international cooperation of the Eurasian National University in educational and scientific sphere and 

The implementation of international activities at the Faculty of Law and the Department of International Law fully meets the mission of the University in the field of international cooperation, namely: to ensure the internationalization of activities of the university and raising awareness of ENU as a scientific and educational center of the Eurasian region in global educational arena by:

Establishing and developing new effective, sustainable relations with leading universities in the world, scholarship programs, educational and scientific organizations;

Search of new international education and scientific programs and dissemination of information about opportunities and consultancies for students, faculty, university staff of ENU to participate in international programs;

Assisting with Inbound and Outbound academic mobility of students, faculty, university staff and its placement and registration at the partner institution and ENU;

Development of multilingual education at ENU;

Assisting in development of double-degree education;

Recruiting of foreign nationals for education at ENU, placement and registration;

Attracting of foreign professors and organization of their visits;

Assisting in engagement of university into works of consortiums, associations;

Presentation of ENU in international forums, educational fairs, and so on.

Information on the international activities of the International Law Department

The Department of International Law closely cooperates with the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Kazan Federal University, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan (AGUPRT), the Kyrgyz State Law Academy. Cooperation agreements and double degree programs have been signed with these universities.

From the 2022-2023 academic year, we began to develop cooperation with the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics (Tajikistan), Osh State University (Uzbekistan), National Research University Higher School of Economics (Russia).

As part of the incoming academic mobility, we have been closely cooperating with AGUPRT since September 2020. For the 2020-2021 academic year, 57 students of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th year of the undergraduate and 1st year of the master's degree arrived. For the 2021–2022 academic year, 21 Tajik students arrived. In the autumn semester of 2022-2023, 3 foreign students studied, and in the spring semester of 2022-2023 academic year, 6 students arrived from ASURT, the Tajik State University of Law, Business and Politics and Osh State University.

From the 2021-2022 academic year, the implementation of the double degree program with ASUPT began. For the 2021-2022 academic year, 8 undergraduates arrived to study under the double diploma program from ASURT in their first year. The second year on the basis of AGUPRT. For the 2022–2023 academic year, 6 undergraduates were admitted.

As part of outgoing academic mobility, 3 3rd year students applied to study in Malaysia, Turkey. In the spring semester of 2021-2022 academic year, student Zh. Kuzhakhmetova studied at the University of Malaya. 3rd year student Tokanova Nazerke is leaving for the spring semester of the 2022–2023 academic year.

For the 2022-2023 academic year, 11 foreign citizens are studying under the educational program "International Law":

- 1 student from the 1st course

- 2 students from the 2nd year;

- 1 student from the 4th year;

- 1 graduate student of the 1st year of the scientific and pedagogical master's program;

- 6 undergraduates of the 1st year of scientific and pedagogical magistracy (according to the program of "double diploma" with AGUPRT.

At the moment, negotiations are underway on a joint double degree program with the Higher School of Economics and Tashkent State University of Law.

Academic mobility of students (further - AM) is training in a foreign partner institution during one semester or academic year, the result of which is a document confirming the learning outcomes (transcript or certificate of training).

Double degree education

The CIS Networking University is the development and implementation of the Erasmus Mundus program analogue within the framework of the common (common) educational space of the CIS member states.

The main goal of the project is to improve the quality and attractiveness of higher education, to strengthen cooperation and inter-university relations in higher education in the territory of the CIS member states. The project is aimed at organizing and implementing high-quality joint master's programs, strengthening international cooperation in training highly qualified specialists. 

The CIS Networking University operates on the rights of the Consortium with equal partnership of all partner universities and is open to the accession of other organizations in accordance with the procedure established by the Consortium members.

Members of the Consortium are the leading universities of the CIS member states, Russian-Slavic universities, higher education institutions, which are the basic organizations in the areas of cooperation by the decisions of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS member states.

Joint preparation of masters in L.N. Gumilyov ENU within the CIS is carried out in such areas as: international relations, international law, economics, tourism, management, nuclear physics, philology (Russian) and construction. Training on Joint educational program in the university partner in the framework of the CIS of the CIS is carried out at the expense of self-financing, educational quotas of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation (Rossotrudnichestvo), the funds of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of CIS countries (IFESCCO), and other sources.

* There is a payment for travel, for a hostel, medical insurance.
