In the international ranking QS World University Rankings, the university has moved up to 93 positions since 2012 and occupies 357 place at the end of 2021. In the ranking of young universities in the world QS Top Universities Under 50 ENU is on the 43rd place.

So far close cooperation between partner universities is the most important criterion of successful international activities of universities.

In this regard, the Department of Civil, Labor and Environmental Law maintains traditional ties with major research centers of the Russian Federation, Belarus, Ukraine, the Kyrgyz Republic and other CIS countries. Long-term cooperation agreements have been made with the Law Faculty of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, the Law Faculty of Vilnius University, and the Law Institute at J. Balassagyn Kyrgyz National University and others.

The Department faculty member on an ongoing basis takes part in guest lectures arranged by the Faculty and the University.

As part of implementation of cooperation agreements between universities, the following scientists were invited for lecturing:

- Professors Mr. Thomas Davulis and Mr. Haroldas Shinkūnas of Vilnius University (Lithuania),

- Professor, Head of the Department of Civil Disciplines of Tver Institute of Moscow University of Humanities and Economics (RF) Mrs. Maria Ivanovna Vassilyeva,

- Professor of St. Petersburg State University (RF) Mr. Vladislav Vassilyevich Nikishin.

Cooperation agreements are implemented in distinct areas.

The implementation of cooperation agreements is carried out in various directions. For example, every year undergraduates of the department undergo research internships at Warsaw University, Vilnius University, Belarusian State University, etc.

Also, within the framework of academic mobility, undergraduate and graduate students have the opportunity to study abroad (Turkey (Suleimen Demirel University), Lithuania, Vilnius (VU), Russia, Moscow (HSE), Germany, etc.).
