Before the meeting young Kazakhstanis got acquainted with the thematic exhibition devoted to the history of the constitutional development of Kazakhstan. The organizers informed the guests about the stages of development and adoption of the first and current Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the main directions of the constitutional reforms carried out in the country, and the establishment and development of the constitutional justice bodies of Kazakhstan.

A sigificant event began with the State Anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Opening the event, the Chairman of the Constitutional Council K. Mami noted: "The current Constitution of the Republic has incorporated the universally recognized values ​​of the world's constitutional heritage. Thanks to it, Kazakhstan not only took place as a sovereign state, but also became a respected member of the international community, whose opinion is listened to at the highest level.

Last year, along with constitutional reform, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan announced a large-scale modernization of public consciousness, which is a prerequisite for achieving the main goal - entering the thirty most developed countries in the world. An integral part of the public consciousness is the legal culture, the primary source of which is the Constitution. In this regard, an important task is to raise the level of the constitutional culture of society. The Constitutional Council by its decisions and purposefully conducted law-explaining work contributes to the enhancement of the legal culture of citizens, the education of respect for the Constitution and laws. It is necessary to preserve the continuity of legal traditions in direct dialogue with the younger generation of Kazakhstanis, "concluded Mami K.A ..

In conclusion, the Chairman of the Constitutional Council thanked all participants of the event and expressed the hope that this event will leave its indelible mark on the constitutional sense of justice of the winners of the competition.

In general, the Constitutional Council received 429 works (essays), including 283 students 'essays and 146 high school students' essays.
