Students of the multilingual group of the Department of International Law share their impressions of the experience gained in a foreign university

3rd year student, Benazir:

My name is Benazir Kazykenova. I am 20 years old student of Eurasian National University with major in International Law. This year I had an great opportunity to study abroad for fall semester of 2018-2019 with the help of scholarship that was granted me by Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

I have chosen the University of Warsaw which is located in the capital of Poland because it’s one of the best and largest higher education institution in Poland furthermore it belongs to the 3% top universities in the world. I have to highlight the fact that I did not have problems with my studies because theoretical knowledge given me by Eurasian National University supported me during whole semester and I reached excellent results in almost all of my classes.

I did study subjects chosen by me in accordance with my own academic interests and our home department of International Law of Eurasian National University helped a lot. My studying subjects at University of Warsaw were: Mixed Jurisdictions Worldwide, European Institutional Law, An Introduction to principle features of Japanese Law, International Humanitarian Law of Armed Conflicts and Polish language courses.

During my stay in Warsaw I gained a great experience both in professional and cultural skills.

Well, that there is an agreement on the exchange of students between the universities of Warsaw and the ENU. Gumilyov
