The Nazarbayev Center has awarded scholars in the field of exact, natural, humanitarian and technical sciences, musicians and actors.
Awarding of the laureates took place as part of summing up the results of the competition to award the Prizes of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy in the field of science, culture and art for 2018.
Identifying the best authors of original research and development, creative projects and programs has become a good tradition of the Foundation. Since 2008, the annual awarding of the Talented Young Kazakhstani People’s Prize has been held to support and recognize their activities. During this period, 240 young people won awards. Today, the names of another 18 laureates - outstanding figures of science, culture and art. As a result, to date, this project has 258 laureates of the Foundation of the First President.
The competition was held in the following directions: musical, theatrical and visual arts, cinematography, fiction, journalism, physics, mathematics, engineering, social and humanitarian sciences.
The following award ceremony was attended by: Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Relations, Defense and Security of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Director of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy D.N. Nazarbayev, ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary in Kazakhstan, deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, prominent public figures, scientists and cultural workers, representatives of NGOs, the Council of Young Scientists of the Eurasian National University L.N. Gumilyov.
