The Constitutional Council has held a solemn meeting dedicated to the Day of the First President and Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan on December 13, 2019.
Opening the event, the Chairman of the Constitutional Council, Kairat Mami has said that two important public holidays celebrated in December go hand in hand with the history of Kazakhstan’s development as a sovereign state.
At the beginning of sovereignty in difficult conditions under the leadership of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev systemic reforms were carried out in the country.
Kairat Mami has presented state and other awards to the Council staff and lawyers who made a significant contribution to strengthening constitutional legality.
