open lesson on November 15

In the framework of the teaching practice of the master's degree in scientific and pedagogical direction, I held an open lesson on November 15, 2019 with fourth-year students of international law in the discipline "UN Specialized Agencies." At the beginning of the lesson, I found it appropriate to conduct a short survey in the form of a quiz in order to repeat the topics that were previously covered. Then a game was held, where students divided into teams and presented their cases. This method of conducting lessons - case-study is considered effective for studying various cases considered by the judicial authorities. They practiced legal language during the presentation by refuting the decisions made and proposing their own options for the decision as an ad hoc judge. Along with this, an unconventional lecture was held in the form of contact hours on the topic “UNESCO as one of the UN specialized agencies”.
