Open seminar of Master Degree syudent of International Law Department

As part of the pedagogical practice, on November 26, 2019, an open seminar was held on the 2nd year undergraduate specialty “International Law”, Faculty of Law, Glotova Maya Nurlankyzy under the leadership of Sh.V. Tlepina. An open lesson was held in the MO-32 group on the topic “International fight against crime”. Discipline "International Law"

The open lesson was attended by teachers, undergraduates of the Department of International Law.

The objectives of the seminar were:

- definition of the concept of “terrorism” in international law

-consider the activities of states and international organizations in coordinating cooperation in the fight against international crime.

The lesson began with a repetition of the material and preparation for oral answers. Also, the group was divided into equal subgroups, each of which had a specific topic for presentation to the remaining group. The lesson was held in the form of moderation. Topics covered:

1. Definition of terrorism in international law

2. Controlled deliveries and operational-search measures

3. Interpol - International Criminal Police Organization

4. Extradition

5. UN action to combat international crime

Thus, Maya Glotova, in order to attract the most attention from students, used an interactive teaching methodology. In this case, the lesson was held in the form of a presentation and disclosure of a specific topic.

Based on the results of the open workshop, conclusions were drawn on the topic and, given the teaching methodology used, it can be said that the goal was achieved.
