In the framework of pedagogical practice, a seminar was conducted by 2-year student of the specialty "International law", law faculty, Serzhankyzy Akerke on 13 Nov 2019, under the direction of Seidesh B.B.

Discipline: "UN Specialized agencies", theme: "International labour organization»

The open lesson was attended by teachers, undergraduates and students of the Department of international law.

The objectives of the seminar were: to study the history of the ILO, its structure, goals and objectives of this organization, as well as its current situation; to consider the ILO conventions, including those ratified by the Republic of Kazakhstan and to develop the ability to analyze and structure these documents, to develop an understanding of the importance of labor law at the national and international levels.

The main part of the seminar was occupied by oral reports of students with presentations on International labour organization and its components, followed by discussion of them. The presentations were given a variety of dates, numbers, and cases, which allowed the audience to remember the main points of the topic.

In General, the seminar was held according to the interactive methodology and the seminar-discussion methodology and in question-and-answer form.

According to the results of the open seminar, conclusions were drawn on the topic and, given the above course of the lesson, we can say that the purpose of the open seminar was achieved.
