SEMINAR LESSON OF MASTER’S DEGREE STUDENT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERNATIONAL LAW

As part of the teaching practice, on November 28, 2019, a 2-year undergraduate student in the specialty “International Law” of the Faculty of Law, Karibaeva Zhіbek, under the supervision of Elegen Akerke Erkinkyzy, was held an seminar lesson with third-year students of the specialty “International Law”. The topic of lesson was “Actual environmental problems of Kazakhstan”.

The lesson was attended by teachers, other master degree students and students of bachelor of the department of international law.

The objectives of the lesson were: the study of modern environmental problems of Kazakhstan, the discussion of national and international documents regulating environmental relations, and also the consolidation of the studied material.

During this lesson, Karibaeva Zhibek applied various techniques. In the first part of the lesson, students made presentations on modern environmental problems of Kazakhstan.

In the second part of the lesson, the games were presented: ‘Question and Answer’ and ‘Cities’, where the students did very well. The questions were from the theory and practice of international environmental law. Further, students were asked to complete individual tasks to verify the consolidation of the studied material.

Thus, throughout the entire lesson of Karibaeva Zh., The method of interactive learning and the moderation method were applied, which allowed students to easily and efficiently learn the topic.

Based on the results of the seminar lesson, conclusions were drawn on the topic and, given the above course of the lesson, we can say that the goal of the open seminar was achieved.
