Online seminar on fingerprinting and genomic registration

 

On October 5, 2018, an online seminar was held to discuss the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On fingerprinting and genomic registration” within the framework of the project “Рухани жаңғыру”, between the 4th year students,  jointly organized by the Head of the Department of Criminal Law of the Law Faculty of the ENU named after Gumilyov L.N., candidate of Law, professor B.R. Sembekova, responsible for students’ research works, candidate of Law, associate professor Ashimova E.A., head of the Scientific-student circle “Expert Criminalist” of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics of the Law Faculty of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi, senior lecturer Daubasova S.Sh., candidate of Law  of the Department of Law and International Relations, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics of the South Kazakhstan State University named after M. Auezov E.P.Kim.

The participants of the seminar discussed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Fingerprint and Genomic Registration” and shared their views on the importance and its relevance for the State. Among students, the students of the 4th course of the group CL-42 Temirzhanova Anar and Sarsenbayev Azamat, as well as many other students noted the relevance and importance of the topic and expressed confidence that it can become the basis for future researches.

Overall, the online seminar has achieved the expected results. All participants actively exchanged views and had a discussion. At the end of the seminar participants made a general photo.
