At this meeting, in addition to the main issues on the agenda, the report of the 2nd year doctoral student of the specialty “6D030200 - International Law” of Akshalova Roza on the passage of foreign scientific internship was heard. Akshalova Roza held a foreign scientific internship at the Department of International Law at the Law Institute of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia from February 18 to May 18, 2019. The purpose of the scientific internship was to prepare a dissertation research on the topic: "International legal problems of regulating renewable energy sources and environmental protection: an analysis of foreign experience". Alexander Solntsev, Associate Professor, Deputy Head of the Department of International Law at the Law Institute of the Russian University of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, who is also a foreign doctoral research advisor, was appointed the head of research internship.
The teaching staff of the International Law Department at RUDN attentively heard the doctoral student’s report, asked about the main results of the internship, about the conditions of passage and residence in Moscow during the internship, about participation in conferences and the number of prepared and published articles.
PhD student Akshalova RD conveyed greetings from the Head of the Department of International Law at the Law Institute of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Member of the UN Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, Member of the Expert Council on the Law of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Member of the Scientific Advisory Council of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, Member Scientific Advisory Council at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Member of the Expert Council at the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, Chairman of Tell the International Law Commission of the UN Association, Honored Lawyer of Russia, Doctor of Law, Professor Aslan Khuseinovich Abashidze.
Recall that the cooperation of the Department of International Law of the ENU with the Department of International Law RUDN began in 2009 and is actively continuing and developing in such areas as the educational program of double diploma for undergraduates, the joint training of PhD students (postgraduates), the joint holding and participation in scientific events, preparing and publication of joint textbooks, monographs and manuals.
