"Antiterrorism Strategy: New Challenges and International Experience"

September 27, 2018 Acting Head of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines Sembekova B.R. and associate professor Muratkhanov M.B. took part in the International Workshop "Antiterrorism Strategy: New Challenges and International Experience".

Foreign experts took part in the International Seminar:

Jurgen Maurer - Vice President of the Federal Criminal Office of Germany with the report "Germany's antiterrorist strategy: the current situation and response in the event of a threat. Issues of deradicalization, international measures to counter the spread of the call to terrorism through Internet resources ".

Andreas May - Senior Prosecutor, Head of the Cybercrime central office (g.Gissen Attorney General's Office, Frankfurt), a report on "A look in the darknet: technical and personnel approaches to the investigation".

 

 

 

The seminar was held in the form of discussion and exchange of views, scientists of the National University of Defense named after the First President of the RK - the Leader of the Nation, KazHLIU, Nazarbayev University, Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies attached to the General Prosecutor's Office of RK.

During the discussion, issues of international cooperation aimed at developing effective mechanisms of influence on countering terrorism and extremism were discussed.
