On November 27, 2019, a regularmeeting of the scientificcircle "actualproblems of criminallaw and combatingcrime" washeldamong the 2ndyearstudents of the faculty of law on criminallaw of the Republic of Kazakhstan (General part). The head of the circle-associateProfessor of the Department of criminallawdisciplines, Ph. D. Muratkhanova Meruyert Beisenovna.
At the suggestion of the students, the circlewasheld in the form of a debate, the main theme of whichwas "Actualproblems of criminallaw on the topic of castration". During the event, bothsideslistened to eachother'sopinions and discussed whether castration again stpedophilia is correct. Students considered measures to prevent suchseriouscrimes, and in practice in foreigncountries. As a concretesolution, the winners of the debateproposed the deathpenalty.
